When you improve the breath, every single other thing that you do is improved! It is the best investment you'll ever make in your singing.

Visualization: imagine the air you breathe in has a color, like a colorful, swirling smoke.
Why is breathing so hard as a singer? Because your muscles are already doing a big job: holding your body upright.
If you experience mobility challenges, here is an alternative warm up that means you don't have to get all the way to the ground:
- Start by sitting on the edge of a couch or bed.
- Carefully move to a lying down position.
- Do any lying down exercises on the bed or couch.
- Then use your arms to push yourself back to a sitting position, and continue with the rest of the standing exercises.
Moving up and down from the ground is difficult for me. What can I do?
